The View Reports that Year Round School Schedules May Happen in Clark County September 2013 Report
Clark County school District reports that 3 of their most overcrowded schools in the valley would benefit by changing to a year round schedule.
These schools are William V Wright, Robert L Forbuss and Carolyn S Reedom. Two of these schools were created to educate 750 children and are now trying to maintain the educational success of almost 1200 children via portable facilities.
The Clark County School District wants better for our local children and would love to be able to build new schools to solve the problem, if this does not work out via voting and funding, the options are to bus them to schools that have space or create a year round schedule.
The great news is that there is opposition from parents in that even though there is an overcrowding problem, the parents love the schools and teachers and staff and do not want to move their children. This is a complement to these schools and their staff and motivated the District to use the alternate solution.
