SNMAS Chorus Opening Rehearsal

The Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society invites singers and community members to sit in on its 53rd season “open” rehearsal on Sunday, August 23 from 6:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. in Beam Music Center 159 on the UNLV campus.

The 65-voice Musical Arts Chorus will begin to prepare for its fall choral-orchestra masterwork performance to be held in Ham Hall on Sunday, November 8. 53rd season highlights include two chorus orchestra masterworks concerts, an annual pops concert, and chorus participation in Andrea Bocelli’s annual tour concert in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, this year on Dec. 5th, 2015.

There are openings in both the Musical Arts Chorus and the 20-voice Musical Arts Singers choral ensemble which will prepare two chamber concerts. An audition is required for membership in SNMAS ensembles.
