The Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society invites singers and community members to sit in on its 54th season “open” rehearsal Sunday, August 28, from 6:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Beam Music Center Room #159 on the UNLV campus.
The 65-voice Musical Arts Chorus will prepare Mendelssohn’s magnificent sacred oratorio, “Elijah,” for its fall choral-orchestra masterwork performance in Ham Hall, Sunday, November 27.
SNMAS 54th season highlights include two chorus orchestra masterworks concerts, an annual pops concert, and chorus participation in Andrea Bocelli’s annual tour concert in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, this year on Dec. 3rd, 2016.
There are openings in both the Musical Arts Chorus and the 20-voice Musical Arts Singers choral ensemble. The Singers will prepare the timely "Songs of Our Politics," music it has performed every four years since 1992.
