Some very important things to put on your list are: Location, safety, size, access to laundry, upstairs or downstairs, proximity to stores and food, what is the parking situation like?, is it clean, do they have extra storage?
Main databases to search for apartments are the rental magazines in which the community can pay to advertise their location, what they offer as far as pool, washer, dryer, club house, jacuzzi and whatever other creative idea they have to get their complex full of paying tenants

Now if you would like a privately owned condo or single family home to rent, try using Las Vegas Classifieds advertising by private owners or the Las Vegas Realtor multiple listing service which also offers rentals by private owners that hired a Las Vegas Real Estate Agent to manage it for them.

These will often be advertised in the newspapers also, but your best bet to find everything is to do a real search of the database. I have put together some simple links here for you. Happy Hunting!

You can click on "Areas Nearby" on the home page to review the other towns and communities that are so close you can still see the strip, but are not considered Las Vegas ... These bordering cities would be North Las Vegas, and the city of Henderson.
