Here are some Las Vegas Real estate statistics for you:
There are 15,645 homes on the market today, this includes Henderson, NV and condos, townhomes and single family homes
7,659 are short sales
3,303 are bank owned REO properties
which is showing a small majority of the homes for sale are REO, but when you add the short sale and REO, we have 11,062 distressed properties which becomes the majority
12,465 properties not included above are currently under contract with a buyer and
3,450 properties have successfully sold and closed since 10/05/2010
