The Las Vegas Men’s Chorus (LVMC) is excited to announce its new September concert under the direction of Mr. Ryan Duff, esteemed CCSD educator and 2017 Heart of Education award recipient.
The Chorus will sing arrangements of songs popularized from movies, Broadway and other artists in a new show that will highlight how singing and music influences communication, sentiment and overall well being.
As part of its mission, the chorus will also be supporting Project 150, a local charity that provides assistance to local homeless teenagers, by organizing a donation drop off for teen appropriate food, hygiene products and other necessities.
The Concert will be held 4:00pm, Sunday September 15th, at The Flamingo Library, 1401 E. Flamingo near South Maryland Parkway.
“The Las Vegas Men’s Chorus is excited for this amazing concert which advocates our commitment to promote arts, education and support our community’s youth,” said Mike Winget, president of LVMC. “’I Sing Because I’m Happy’ is an innovative musical concept which focuses on how music affects emotion, drives a desire to do good and will bring additional awareness to help our local homeless teenagers.”
