LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort will host the 2019 Audi Henderson Lake Las Vegas Classic to benefit Keep Memory Alive.
The festivities will run Nov. 1-2 and include a double shotgun scramble golf tournament, as well as a silent auction and culinary feast, featuring foods prepared by top Las Vegas chefs.
Golf enthusiasts are invited to play for charity at the Reflection Bay’s golf course, and those interested can register teams of four in the Gross and Net Division of the nonprofit tournament.
“This is the third year we have hosted this tournament, and it is one of our most popular tournaments of the year,” said Eric Dutt, Reflection Bay Golf Club’s manager of operations.
Included in the round of golf will be a continental breakfast for the morning rounds and a barbecue lunch in the afternoon, prepared by local chef Scott Commings of Reflection Bay, according to an event spokesperson.
In the evening, registered golfers, event sponsors, and guests are invited to enjoy a Welcome Reception overlooking the lake at The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa.
The night gathering will feature a selection of drinks, appetizers, and a live performance by Patrick Sieben.
Saturday evening’s event will include a silent auction to benefit Keep Memory Alive, a nonprofit organization that aims to increase awareness and raise funds for the research, diagnosis, and treatment of brain disorders.
Several local and regional chefs and restaurants will also be offering cuisine throughout the evening that includes The Capital Grille, Zenshin Asian Restaurant, and Texas de Brazil, among others.
Guests will also have the opportunity to taste cocktails and beers poured by local wineries and breweries.
“This event has been widely popular ever since we brought it to Reflection Bay three years ago,” tournament director Ryan Chackel said. “We’re looking forward to a night of great local cuisine and giving back to an amazing nonprofit organization.”
